Tera Desh, Mera Desh, Apna Desh, Hum Ek Hain … Happy Republic Day Fellow Countrymen
Today is the day when India replaced its own constitution replacing the old colonial government act of 1935. On 26th January 1950 the Constitution of India came into force thus making it a Sovereign, Democratic and Republic state. On this day India finally enjoyed the freedom of spirit, rule of law and fundamental principle of governance.
Just like Independence day, today the whole country comes together and show unity and brotherhood. We the common man of India cherish this day the most, as The Indian constitution basically stands for the our aspirations. The democracy that it brought into the country makes the common man supreme.
As its the most important day, it is celebrated majestically in all states of India and especially in the capital, New Delhi. Today we show our military might and show how we are culturally rich. It marks the display of the world’s most impressive parade. Republic day is celebrated with much zeal and pride all across the nation. President gives away the gallantry awards to the brave armed forces and the winners pass the president in their open jeep to salute the chief.
Republic Day is a national holiday when everyone rejoice of being an Indian. The Indian Flag is hoisted on every government office and schools in the whole country.
